Public Policy Coordinator
Jason Musgrove
Born and raised in Oklahoma, Jason graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with his Bachelor of Science in General Studies and minors in History and Political Science. During his time as a student, he taught action civics as a Democracy Coach to middle and high school students in the Oklahoma City metro area through a nonprofit called Generation Citizen. He spent time as a campaign coordinator for an OKC city council campaign in 2022 and worked as a policy intern for State Representative Ajay Pittman in the Oklahoma Legislature during the 2023 regular session. He developed a passion for research-based advocacy during his time in college and uses his ties to those close to him who have struggled with mental health, as well as his struggles, to push himself even harder to find the right solutions for all who struggle with their mental health.
He lives by the quote he has tattooed on his wrist, “Your story does not end here;” with the semicolon implying there is more to see and do during the passage of our lives, even if we cannot see those things ourselves.
