This month, we’re encouraging all Oklahomans to move as part of our Move for Mental Health campaign to emphasize the importance of mental health amidst the global pandemic and beyond.
Move for Mental Health is a reminder that good health requires that we take care of our minds just as we take care of our bodies. Optimal mental health is a key part of overall well-being. We want to continue to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and stop the stigma associated with mental health disorders.

Each week we will challenge you to show support online and “move for mental health” as a way to gear up for the national campaign kick-off, NAMIWalks, on May 30.
You can participate by following along on our event page. Post your videos and pictures each week using social media hashtags #NAMIOklahoma #MoveForMentalHealth and #MentalHealthForAll. Invite your family and friends to join in the fun!
