NAMI Oklahoma is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1985 by family members of people with mental illness.
Today, NAMI Oklahoma has grown to include seven affiliates throughout the state that facilitate support groups, conduct education programs, and speak in the community to increase understanding and bring awareness to mental illness issues and to share the message that treatment can be effective.
The mission of NAMI Oklahoma, in partnership with its affiliates, is to improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by mental illness through support, education and advocacy.
